Have you heard of StrengthsFinder? It’s a best-selling book and online exam adults can take to determine their top strengths. One of my former bosses made us take it and share with one another as a team builder. I’ve also done Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, Color Code, and many others. I find these to be useful exercises to think about our preferences and how we might come across to others.
I’ve been searching for something that helps kids discover their passions or develop their talents. The makers of StrengthsFinder came up with something for kids ages 10 – 14 years old. It cost $10 to take the online quiz but there are also free downloadable workbooks that can be adapted and used without the quiz to help young people discover their strengths.
Try it out and let us know what you think! Have any other ways to help students discover their passions? Let us know below!
