We are so excited to have met the great people who run the Institute for Humane Education. Founder Zoe Weil reached out to us and said, “Hey, we should connect.” We read their vision and found it incredibly similar to ours, almost down to the word! We spoke with Zoe as well as Executive Director Sarah Speare and Head of School Bill Gladstone.

Yep — They are starting a school in NYC! It’s called the Solutionary School and they are building a curriculum, training teachers, designing a space and getting all set to open in 2018. We can’t wait to take a look at the curriculum and continue to follow the school’s development. In the meantime, they also offer graduate programs and online courses for teachers, workshops for the community and lots of downloadable and other resources both free and for purchase.

We look forward to collaborating with them — one of their team members is likely going to join our Ed2Save Fellowship Cohort this summer! (If you are interested in joining us for Fellowship we only have a few spots left and are running a special this week!)

It warms our hearts to find like-minded groups seeking to inspire and prepare kids to make the world a better place.
