Hopefully you’ve heard of and watched a few TED talks.
TED conferences started in 1984, bringing people together from Technology, Entertainment and Design. It has since expanded to include thought leaders from many more industries who have “ideas worth spreading”. In fact, the most popular talk of all time is about education by Sir Ken Robinson, asserting that schools kill creativity.
TED now has a Fellows program designed to recognize, validate and support a new generation of paradigm-shifters. Fellows are invited to one of the two official TED conferences, receive training from established idea spreaders and give their own TED talk. From the website:
